Kind of.

I used to talk to the best friend I ever had, literally 12 hours out of the day at minimum; usually more. Then something happened that changed us forever, and we're no longer friends. I still stand in the fact that she is one of the best friends I've ever had. I don't regret the things I said, nor does she, but I wish I were still with her.

All I can hope, now, is that she's happy.

But immediately after we stopped talking, I felt empty constantly. I missed her, with all my mind, all my soul, and all my heart. I'll never forgive myself for letting her go.

We talked, once, weeks afterward. She changed. I changed. And we were no longer the people that we had been.

I missed her like hell, even as I read a message she'd just sent me, moments before. And yet, she's not the person I missed.

I was missing the person I wanted her to be; the old her.

But she changed.

I think I'm ready to talk to her now.

Well at a hospital, this person was really sick, and traumatized, and I felt so bad for missing them, but they were kinda in a daze. Lucky everything is good now. But I don't take that person forgranted, not one second.

Yes. My husband. We haven't been getting along like normally and I do miss talking to him even though he's right there. He has completely changed for the worse which is unfortunate.

Or maybe the person you miss is not the idealized version that you thought he/she was and you've seen him the way he/she really is?

"you" here is the general you. Not you, Queen of Yack, you. he he

YES, oh yes.

I wish my closest friend hadn't changed...
and I wish the person I have feelings for would notice me again.

WOW at your timing!!!!

Edit: It's a situation in my family, very stressing, that I was just dealing with, before I came back online and saw your question.

I've asked a question related to this, months ago, with my old account, but I can't access it anymore. If I can remember anyone who answered that question, I'll try to find it, at their profiles, and put the link here, for you.

Thank you for asking! :)

Edit 2: I can't find the question, sorry! It's about my parents getting old and ill.
