GH: Bobby's love interest?

Question

Isn't she overdue for a love interest? Her men are always sexy. It seems that these days, you only see Bobby when something tragic happens or when Carly needs her. I hope the writers involve her more, especially with a man, soon.

If they want younger viewers, they should stick with GH's night shift (although I've never seen it, the previews seem to focus on the young doctors). I'm really getting tired of all of the younger storylines. Especially all of the stupid nurses fighting over Patrick. And sick of Robin Scorpio, too.

i miss bobbie!! it would be great if she got a chance to interact with jerry. maybe the old sparks will reappear. but truth be told, i miss the actor who used to play jerry - he was more charismatic. bobbie should definitely get more screen time. where was she when leticia was killed? or when Luke came back to town? or the B&W ball? kind of messed up if you ask me.

bobbie ( and monica) are over 45 and TPTB at GH push the YOUNG characters/actors ( except the MALES but then GH is mainly written by Men)- I bet we would never see Tracy Q if she wasn't involved with Luke
Notice how they are even using Jason( 30's) more and more and Sonny ( actor mid 40's) is starting to get less airtime

I love Bobbie and wish they would give her a man. What I want to know is why hasn't there been a scene with her and Jerry? Seeing as how he was arrested before they could say their vows at their wedding and that was the last we seen of him. I don't think he has even asked Carly about her. Mike and Bobbie might work or they could bring Roy back, or hire someone new.

I would have liked to see Bobbie and Noah, but are Jacklyn Zemen and Rick Springfield even still on contract anymore? It seems like the writers only trot them out of the Seniors Closet once or twice a year to keep the older viewers watching.

The chances for Bobbie to get a storyline are slim and none the powers that be at GH are only interested in worshiping at the altar of EMO Hit man Killer Jason and the whole show revolves around him now. No one else gets any chance to shine unless it is in the reflected light of Jason.

I liked seeing Bobbie on Wednesday, though once again they missed the chance to have her and Jerry Speak (since He left her at the altar long ago) I did like seeing her with Mike and the least they could do is have them hook up

I would like to see more of Bobbie-the writers need to remember that there are also older viewers out there that want to see long time characters have interesting story lines.

Bobby hasn't had any storyline for years. Let alone a love interest. I wonder if that is her choice not to work much any more. Most soaps, it seems, stop using the older characters at some point. So who knows if is the actors choice or the show.

Yes I agree that Bobby needs to have a love life. I however am not sick of Robin, but I wish Layla would go away.

I agree. i love bobby and i think it's ashame they only bring her back for weddings and funerals. she is a talented actress who seems to been replaced by some of the younger characters on that show.

I agree with you. I would like to see Bobbie involved in a major storyline. I'd also like to see other characters, such as Brenda and Helena, return.
