What are you talking aboot?

No. I just think that the Americans would be much happier if Canada became a republic. It would then be so much easier to assimilate Canada into the USA calling it the 51st State. You will recall that back in c1812 the Yankees did indeed try to attack Canada and force it to join the Union.

Thankfully the head of state of Canada for the time being at least, is HM Queen Elizabeth II. While there are no doubt a good many Canadians who would like to go republican, I'll bet they have second thoughts about it when they consider just what this will mean for Canada and it's relationship with the USA.

Remember too that following the American Revolution something like 100,000 loyalists sailed with the Royal Navy from the former American Colonies to the British Colony of Canada. That alone tells you a lot.

NO - AMERICANS DO NOT HATE CANADA OR THE CANADIANS.

I cannot understand why the US should hate Canada. I understand that because of the weak US$ Canadians are ordering online from the USA rather than buying locally. This has resulted in a surge in US imports and a great increase in the pressure on mail services. The only ones who may feel hurt are the canadian retailers who stocked up with US imports when the US$ was stronger and now find themselves stuck with unwanted goods on their shelves. The US may be jealous of the canadians whose economy is booming and theirs is failing. It looks like Canada could be able to avoid the worst effects of a US recession.

American does not hate Canada, but Canada have a very close relationship with France. So when the tension about Frances' illegal activities in the middle east surfaced, some of that will echo in Canadian society. This is the closest you'll see Canada take an international stand on anything..hehe

America has no reason to hate Canada. They're good neighbors.

Why would one whole country hate another whole country? What reason would any US citizen have for hating Canada? There are far worse neighbors a country could be.

This question has to rate among the most absurd queries ever presented on Yahoo Answers!! Don't people go to school anymore? Do they have their listening ears on? A nation has no being so no hate can be involved. Rephrase the question and avoid further ridicule.

First, we all live in America - North America to be precise. I am sure, 98% of the population of both countries don't hate ether one, the other 2% are admissible.
