Has anyone heard about Jazz singer Kamal who appeared on a Billy Cobham album?

What happened to the Jazz singer Kamal?
I love the Billy Cobham album "Simplicity of Expression, depth of thought". The best song is early libra, where a singer Kamal sings with a beautiful contra alto. I have never been able to find out who he is, or in what other CD.s he appears. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I googled it and nothing came up besides a New Age singer. Does anyone have a clue? and it is not the artist who lives in Australia Khamal. This is someone different
This is not the singer in Dubai either, he is too young. Kamal recorded the song Early libra with Billy cobham in 1979, so this must be another singer.

According to allmusic.com, it was the New Age Kamal who sang with Billy Cobham. Go to his profile and click on "Credits".
