after 1 hour A moves by 72 units on the x-axis and 96 units on the Y-axis so it would be at 72i + 96j.

B moves for 40 min or 2/3 hours so it will be at 144(2/3)i + 42(2/3)j = 96i + 28j

Helicopter A
Da = v t
Da = (72i + 96j) (1) = 72 i + 96 j

Helicopter B
Db = vt
Db = (144 i + 42 j) (2/3)
Db = 96 i + 28 j
