do you realize how much paper it would take to keep me and all my kind wiped? humans are clearly an ecological diaster in thousands of ways. toilet paper is a multi billion dollar bit of foolishness. all the cars and roads are another. the list goes on and on. that is why mars is the way it is.

See here Mad Cow, you can crap while standing, us humans have to sit or will crap on our leg. My husband is a Fire Fighter and there have been times where they have had to Crap in the woods. He said they have one method called the " Sling Method." So, I'm trying to get a visual here. I know he has more methods. I've asked him to write a book about it, but he simply replies, " Oh Pooh Pooh."

Wiping your bum prevents skid marks in your shorts, keeping the smell of S**T around your person to a minimum. No one is saying you have to use paper, you could use a cloth, and wash it out later (breaking it up with a hammer first, washing it, and sewing the pieces back together).
