Saying something you wish you hadn't is worse because it can't be taken back. You are the master of the unspoken word. Once it is out of your mouth, you are its slave.

If you had not said anything, usually there is another opportunity to bring it up, unless the person is not still alive. But with the first situation, there are no second chances.

In my opinion, wishing you didn,t say whatever it was. It is always harder to take back time and "wish i never said that" than just keeping it in your mind and letting it go. I like to think before i say something cause i really don't like hurting anyone's feelings....keeping it in your mind will never do that..!

not saying anything and wishing you had because you will always be asking what if to yourself and then if you said it you could just think on the bright side and say at least i said it
