My parents are pretty into the whole 'Christmas decorating' thing, which is fine with me. To each his own, but they keep trying to get me involved, like by wearing hats or scarves with snowmen on them, and trying to get me to decorate my bedroom for Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I like the spirit of Christmas just as much as anyone, but is it so wrong to not be Happy Christmas Jolly, and still enjoy xmas? Is there anyone else out there who is more 'Merry Christmas, I Could Careless?"

I love Christmas, but I dislike a lot of the trappings that surround it. Why trivialize the birth of Christ or the spirit of giving by granting a central place to scarves with snowmen?
