Think it might have something to do with the fact that if you lose 2 games your season is over? Or, do you think it has something to do with the fact that Hawaii, and Kansas probably won't play for the National Championship eventhough they're the only 2 undefeated teams right now....

I don't think the BCS system is fair just because...well let's think about it. If you lose really early in the season you can come back but if you lose late in the season you have no hope. We can look at Michigan in this case who lost 3 times this year and still managed to get ranked 21 before their loss to OSU.

Just because a team is undefeated doesn't warrant them a NC game birth. Hawaii and Kansas have played nobody, put either team in the SEC and they would barely be ahead of Mississippi State. Get a real schedule then you can cry about getting no respect. Kansas will lose to Mizzou anyways, then Mizzou in turn will lose to Oklahoma. National title game will be LSU vs WVU

the biggest reason that the BCS system is in place is money. With all of the bowl games and advertising, college presidents reap in big profits. These greedy presidents are unwilling to implement a playoff system. Also, rankings have alot to do with perception and school reputation. The major schools will always have an edge in the polls due to their reputation. Sadly, it will be almost impossible for every team to be perceived the same way by the voters.

I'm a Badgers fan and after they dropped down 14 spots in the polls when they lost to Illinois, I hated the polls. Your right though, Hawaii and Kansas should play in the Championship.
