I would like to be a Vet and was wondering what schools offer this. I know there is only like 26 in the U.S. so if anyone knows one near Arkansas or where I can find a list of these schools.

Thanks in Advance!!

And......if anyone knows what classes I should take in high-school in order to prepare for the courses I will have to take. I am in all advanced (AP) classes so I can take any class my school offers.

There are now 28 schools. Most have residency requirements -- but many reserve a small number of slots for residents of other states.

Since Arkansas does not have a Vet school -- but its residents have been admited to LSU, Tuskegee University, Kansas State University, the University of Missouri, and Oklahoma State University

In high school just make certain you do university preparatory courses, including math and sciences. Talk to the guidance counselor at your school who can give you good advice.

The most important thing is to get excellent grades, because competition for vet school is fierce, more competitive than medical, so you need to have superb grades to get accepted.

Texas A & M is a very good school for veterinary medicine.
