Someone who spends lots of time reading and studying... Someone who's less concerned with all the latest trends... Someone who is good with computers...
I'm more of a Geek than a Nerd, because I like fantasy and sci-fi stuff and I'm artistic and have a BA digital arts degree, but I'm still a bit thick and I suck at maths and anything sporty :)

Most would say a nerd is an unstylish person, more concerned about intellectual things then whats "cool". Me however, I try not to label people, and when I think of nerds, i think of those delicious little pink and purple candies.

In a "good way": A smart person
In a bad way: Someone doing unnecessary things or having to always be politically correct... people who do not take shortcuts, always has to take the long way...has to put there 2 cents into everything..

Well im from england and over here a nerd is someone who is really clever, someone who the teachers love, someone with glasses, someone who plays an instrument, someone who talks posh :)

I get good grades...
(Apart from on here with my hat) I don't care about my appearance...
My social life is down the drain...
And I get all excited about epic films and books...

well, its generaly rude, but some people like being called a nerd
basicly, the person gets good grades( A's AND ONLY A's!!), and generaly dosen't care what they wear as long as its comfortable
