I mean, look at these lyrics. He is awesome:

A thousand other boys could never reach you
How could I have been the one
I saw the world spin beneath you
And scatter like ice from the spoon
That was your womb

bigboy, how can you say that about Johnny? I think he is just as talented as Eddie. Fyi, Pearl Jam is one of my all-time favorite bands.

Jim Morrison and The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and purely for voice over actual words would be Andrea Bocelli.

How's work going? LOL!

Gerry :)

Edit Update: Come to think of it I am also a big Rat Pack Fan - so, Frank, Dino, Sammy, Peter, and Joey come to mind - but especially the songs of Frank "That's Life", "Chicago", "New York", etc. I know this is weird but I really am your basic "geek". LOL!

Have a wonderful day where ever you be within the midst of it all!

Gerry :)

Definately feel that way about The Rocket Summer. It's a one-man-band and Bryce Avary is my hero. Glad to see all these people bringing truth back to music

A few...a band called Smoke or Fire from VA, The Clash, and the Misfits (not the current band calling themselves the misfits, but the one that Danzig wrote the songs for).

Arlo Guthrie. But seeing it is the day after Thanksgiving you can't blame a fella for having Alice's Restaurant Massacree in his head.

If you think of Johnny that way you really need to expand your music taste.....Try some Pearl Jam, NIN....music with meat!

Eddie Vedder does to me...he really gets in your head!

Nikki Sixx who is the main songwriter of Motley Crue, Brides of Destruction & Sixx:A.M.

His song Life is Beautiful hits me deep -

"You can't quit until you try
You can't live until you die
You can't learn to tell the truth
until you learn to lie
You can't breathe until you choke
You gotta laugh when you're the joke
There's nothing like a funeral to make you feel alive"
