I don't think I can surprise anyone, maybe a few years ago when I rode motorcycles. I used go to the casino to play poker, now I play on line. I play cards with friends three times a week. My newest and best hobby is my laptop. I'm not sure if it's a hobby or an addiction, but at least it's a harmless addiction. Not like some of my others!

I design sterling silver jewelry, create the molds and send them to NY to be poured. I so some jewelry using silver wire for pendants. I volunteer tons of hours to American Red Cross, I am a member of the the Emergency operation center in Charleston also a client case manager supervisor with American Red Cross.
I guess for adventure, I get deployed to disaster zones to help those affected by floods, hurricanes, fires etc.

Not exciting as bungee jumping or parachuting or racing cars, but I am afraid of heights and never speed, I get too nervous driving with the idiots out on the road. Oh wait, when I really get ticked at other drivers, I give them the one finger salute, guess that is dangerous!

Since I've had to give up any physical activities for awhile,
my hobbies now are either reading about history during the
1800's, including personal diaries, or googling info on well
known famous people in the entertainment industry who are
missing from the screen. And of course, YA whenever I have
the spare time, or make the time, to see what's being asked.
I now seem to fly through my emails, just to get here sooner
LOL. I guess I'm still addicted after all these months. And I'm
getting more familiar with the names and info I've read from
them to get 'better aquainted' with who they are.

hmmmmmmmm.....aside from my lifelong piano playing, guitar and uke playing, I like to sing. Also like to write, but haven't been inspired to do that lately. I used to love to go fishing when my husband was alive and we went camping and fishing. Haven't done that in a long time either. Lately, I've been studying Spanish and I plan on taking a class in drawing in January because I started thinking about all the artists in my family, and thought I'd give it a try. In my spare time I also love to watch dvds, since I'm a film addict.

Nothing death defying anymore.
Reading, anything in water related fun, gardening when my body allows, scrapbooking, writing each of my children a book beginning with their conception, birth, my life as a child, teen, etc, so when I'm gone if they have any questions maybe they'll find the answer. Seeing that the elderly I know with difficulties get to the store, Dr. etc,

I scuba dive. It is the best thing! The floating sensation and the sense of freedom is amazing. It feels like you are on another planet down there. The different kinds of fish and the jewel-like colours are really something to see, and it is so peaceful (unless you encounter a shark, which in itself is quite exiting)

It's not a surprise this is in the seniors section. For the first time we finally have the time and the money at the same time! This year I took up golf and whitewater rafting. And, for my 57th birthday I went skydiving! (Adventure is one of my core values.)
