yes its normal. the doctor can give you a cream for the odor. i was having a burning feeling as well as a odor and she gave me a cream that helped a long. anyone that is mean about this is just an as$ and you shouldn't listen to them. Hun, just a little FYI that might make you feel a bit better is that with the burning and everything that was going on with me, i could smell the odor and i was worried that everyone else could but the good thing is that NO ONE ELSE CAN! if you ever want to talk or have more questions about this and other stuff you can always e-mail me. baby7k@yahoo.com
hope i helped!
EDIT: what ever you do, don't douche. I've heard by many people and doctors that it is unhealthy for you. its okay that there is an odor, the vagina is a self-cleaning organ.

It depends how bad it is, does it smell fishy, if so thats normal, though a pain in the butt, just make sure you wash frequently and keep your personal hygiene up to scratch, if its really bad, then its worth a vist to your doctor who has the best advice, good luck!

yes it is very normal, don't listen to these goons. right before you start your period your body goes through major hormornal changes. your mucus membranes produce more mucus or discharge and your body temperature rises. as long as its not a strong smell then i wouldn't worry. but if this happens before EVERY period then that is probably how your body works. mine does the same thing and i don't have an infection of any kind, never have.

A mild scent, a little like "clean sweat" is normal, and the scent can change through your cycle. If it's strong or unpleasant, that can indicate a health problem.

Hormones change from time to time over the course of the month. However, you should have a check up to see what the cause is. Good luck.

Can't say I've noticed, but seems logical - afterall, your body is getting ready to shed a waste product.
