Just thought I'd toss that out there to see how stupid it looks to put Romo in the same league is Favre or the lesser Aikman.

I just asked the question to show how dumb it is to compare Hall of Fame QB's to a guy that hasn't played a full season yet.

I agree with those who believe it's way too early to compare the two, given that Romo has yet to play a full season.
Aikman is a HOFer, while Romo is a good young QB with many years ahead of him. Way too early to speculate how it will all turn out.

Romo is no where near as great as Aikman. He has to start and play a full season, and then try breaking some records, making it to the superbowl and winning one might help also...the guy is having a great season so far! By no means is he ready to be categorized with the Aikman! Even if he won a superbowl, he still would not be in the same "league"!

As a Cowboy fan,to early to make comparisons,Troy Aikman is a HOF'r while Romo is just starting to get his feet wet,have to admit that Romo has achieved more than what Aikman did in the same span of playing time,but to say Romo is better only time will tell,he does look like he at least belong in the same room with Staubach,Aikman and Meredith

Wow, you're able to desire to bounce off Romos sack till now you get harm. the only component that makes Romo good now may be the weapons he has. I mean you assert in some years he would be good. If Romo keeps these numbers up for several years he will be up there with them. Aikman was also part of the triplets!!! However, Romo has his share of nasty players too. Aikman threw 165 tds!!!

Aikman is better. Its way too early to compare Romo to Aikman. He might be one day but as of right now NO. Let him win a few championships then I might reconsider.
