Gay people aren't bad. Up until recently gay people hid the fact that they were different. Even now you will have others criticize your gender preference. You have to decide how tough you are- and whether or not you want to be open and happy.
I know a gay guy that lived through the 50's in the closet. He got married and had kids, but he was dreadfully unhappy! He finally got a divorce and is now openly gay, but lives with scrutiny. He just cannot tell a lie to himself anymore.

No gay people are not bad. I'm bi and I'm not bad unless I want to be. Don't be confused, people do want they do cause they have no life. Some poeple are going to harrass you but don't let it get to you. You don't know them and they don't know you. At the end of the day it's just you and the one you love.

You are in no way bad for being gay. Many times, people just make fun of gays because they are ignorant and were raised to think that gay people were bad. As you can see, we really aren't bad people.

No. Just outside of society's standard for "normal". People harass you because they are afraid of or disturbed by what they don't understand. Hetero people can't really understand fully for obvious reasons. Alot of people are VERY narrow in their thinking, and can't accept anything other than what THEY believe.
Do yourself a favor to prevent being bashed or physically hurt REALLY bad. Don't dress all fem when you go out to work, shopping, etc. {clubbing is different} Don't be loud, fem ,flamboyant, and "girly" in a regular setting. People will target you. Sad but true.
FYI....I am a 58 yr. old mom and grandma. I'm straight but not narrow!

If you are truly being harassed because of your sexuality, you have to realize it is only because the people harassing you are ignorant.
A natural part of the human psyche is to fear what we don't understand. A lot of straight people cannot understand or realte to homosexuality, therefore they fear homosexuals. Harassment is a way to allay the subconscious fears that they have within themselves. Usually those who are doing to strongest harassment are those who are trying hardest to deny or repress their own latent homosexuality.
If you are being harassed at school, you do NOT have to "put up" with it. You have the right to learn in an environment that will nurture you and in which you can feel safe. If you do not feel that way, then talk to your parents, or a school counselor.

no your not bad,I'm not gay,but Ive had some and still do have some wonderful friends that are gay. gay is a sexual preference and that's where ends.people aren't measured by there preferences or shouldn't be. ignorance is why your harassed, and its a shame. you be strong and don't feel confused,be proud of who you are.don't let confused nit wits bring you down. it'll get better someday.

No...gay people aren't bad....we are just like everyone else...some good, some not so good, and most of us just trying to live our lives. People have many reasons for harassing gays...I've learned that I need to be true to myself and that is I'm a person who happens to be lesbian. I am proud to be a lesbian, I'm a mom, I belong to a church community, I participate in activities in my living community, I participate in the lesbian community activities also. I am who I am and if people can't see me as a whole person, if they identify me only as a hated lesbian, then they are missing the point of why we are on this earth. It is about love...love whatever God you believe in, love yourself, and love others. There is no room for hate or judgment when you love. Good luck :)

No! Don't even worry.. it's not bad AT ALL! People are just too caught up with traditions and they can't take the changes, they don't understand that not everyone has the same feelings and opinions as them and they just can't take it.. so don't worry, you're not the sick one, THEY are! They are sick because they believe that they are on top of the world and everyone else has to be like them. Their judgements are impossible to stop though, because it's set in their minds that homosexuality is wrong. Be yourself! You, yourself, know which sex you like! I warn you though, IT WILL be tough, because the judgements will carry on. Don't let them get to you!
