wait until 2:30 in the morning and steal your parents car, drive it around town making sure to floor it whenever possible to get use to driving. turn off the lights and drive as fast as possible in a residential area. if you don't get killed or kill anyone else then you are ready to drive.

Get a state drivers manual,it will tell you everything you need to know and may have some practice questions.
Things get changed, but the health can't be done online.
Some states now require a complete physical from a doctor,DMV requires an eye exam when you apply for or renew a permit/license.
The written test is given at the DMV office.
After you get your permit, you will have about a month to drive with a licensed driver with you to get practice operating and getting experience with a motor vehicle.
Anytime you wish, you may return to the DMV and take a driving test with a state examiner.
If you pass, you will get a drivers license,if you fail-you will have to continue with the learners permit until you pass the driving test.
The written test is not an open book test,it is to test your knowledge of rules of the road. Taking the test online will not let the examiners know if you are answering the questions with or without a book.
The test has several questions (about 10) and you can miss only 2 or 3 and still pass.
The safety classes would be a good thing especially if you don't take a drivers education course.
A drivers ed class will teach you a lot of things and let you get additional driving practice with an instructor,it could also reduce you insurance rates for your parents.
Ignore A C's answer, that is very bad advice. Also talk to your parents.

Not sure about the online stuff. If you still live w/parents. You should pay attention when they drive and ask them questions about correct driving .

Like slowly entering a blind intersection. Staying on the slow lane if you are driving slow. Signaling a good distance before you make a turn. Signaling and looking over your shoulder before you change lanes. Plus all the rest of the good stuff.

Everyday is a different situation that you can learn from . So when your ready to take the written and driving test you can have a heads up on the game.

Public hich schools should offer the in class drivers education for free. There are several websites that offer it, but you must pay. You could also go through a driving school, but that can get costly.
After you've completed the class, you take a written test to get your permit.
Then you have to take 3 in car driving lessons with a driving school. This is costly too. Once you've gotten your permit, you have to have it for atleast 6 months and take the in car sessions. Then you can go to your DMV and schedule your driving test for your license.

Sorry I can't help you with that, but I may be able to help you to keep your insurance rates affordable and your parents willing and able to loan you the car, and save you a bunch of trouble on the road. First thing, tell a bunch of adults, including your parents, what you want to do and ask them what do you need to know to be a GOOD driver, to keep from having all the stupid problems that everybody has when they get started driving--getting locked out of the car, having accidents, etc., and listen to them DEAD seriously! They may share the things that they found out over 10-20-30 years that aren't in any Drivers' Ed book so you don't find out about them the hard way like we all did... Wish you the best, Mike

You should have already taken a course in school now you have to find an instructor (a real live instructor) and take the actual lessons. Then you will be able to drive

Have you ever notice how badly alot of people drive? They practically give licenses away. Just go to the DMV and take the test.
