We both really like each other but we're having a hard time getting the relationship off the ground. But even when I was eady to give up he kept trying. That impressed me and made me want want to keep trying. I'm a libra by the way. opposite signs attract i guess, but i've always loved virgos. But how long will he continue to try?

virgo are slave to themselves
i dated one for 5 years it was great but it turned out to a break up and after 1 year and half, we bump to each other on the street, we started sleeping together and i wanted more from him but he wasn't ready for commitment. so i let go and let it burn in my soul. i started dating again to forget about him and it worked a little but i still think about him. we do talk but i started to make myself busy. he call me when and say he miss me.
so i suggest you give him a lot of space and let nature take care of the rest.

HERE IS AN ANSWER I RECIVED FROM SOMEONE WHEN I ASKED THE SAME QUESTION YOU ASKED
I am answering this question for a virgo friend who has been in love with two virgo men (at different times in her life)

She met Virgo man no.1 over five years ago and they are still in touch although this is only by email. She seems to be doing all the work and chasing, but he is still responding but remaining non-committal.
Virgo man no.2 is very much the same situation but she has not known him for as long as virgo no.1.
Both men are very similar and distant, non-committal but still keep in contact with my friend, although this is at a distance for now.
Personally, and this is what i have suggested to my friend. To be a bit distant for a while and allow some time for the virgo man to miss her. He needs to realize what he is losing.
Also, i believe that virgos stick around for a long time as they are usually dedicated to a person once they have feelings.
My friend says she will always love someone even though they don't love her anymore. So maybe your virgo man is sulking, self-criticsing and too proud to come back just yet.
Be cool for a while and see what happens.

Good luck, honey x

Well, one thing to remember about the sign of Virgo is that it's ruled by Mercury, and those with a strong natal Virgo influence tend to be quite analytical -- as well as dedicated to "fixing" things (including biological human being "things" at times!). It seems quite possible that he's busy analyzing the things that make the relationship bumpy, and attempting to "fix" or realign them so the road will be smoother.

As for how long he'll remain dedicated to working things out, there are more important astrological indicators than the Sun Sign. Where are your respective Moons, and your Mars and Venus, for example?

House placements have a much larger impact on things like dedication to relationships of all sorts, than Sun signs as well.

If you want a *really* complete "relationship picture," then "Synastry," or a "comparison chart" would be the best way to go. If you're not familiar with it, this is where natal charts are constructed for each of you, and compared -- the angles and aspects formed between your and his natal charts make up a third, pseudo-chart, which is like a chart of the relationship itself.

He sounds like a controlled Scorpio. Unusual. I wouldn't let him go. You don't have to anyway because of all you have going for you. When the moment is right, he will make the move.
