I know it is not very common in the US but overseas especially in Asia, eating some animals live is part of their diet/culture. After vacationing in Thailand and Japan I learned to eat some fish and scorpions live. Let me tell you it wasn't easy and it felt weird going down live but it was good.

Have you ever ate anything alive before?

When I lived on a reservation I had to eat raw fish out of a river and once again in the 18th Airborne. A few worms as well.

We used to eat feeder-goldfish OFTEN when I was in college.

I've also eaten ants, worms, and grubs during Naval Aircrew Survival Training.
