I have nothing against bi women but probably wouldn't date one because it's a turn off. It turns me off to think that a woman that I like is attracted to men. That's my honest answer, it's a big turn off. I would die if I ever caught my gf checking out some guy and saying some guy is cute. But to be honest, I WOULD date a bi girl if she had ALL of the qualities I'm looking for. I TRY not to discriminate, it's not their fault their bi, we don't choose our sexual orientation.

Becuase the stereotpye of a bisexual person is a sex addict.
Some people feel that bisexuals are so confused that they are unable to commit and that they are secretly gay or straight. I am bisexual and I for some reason don't like to date other ones...I find them hott but I would never date one myself.

Because with many there's the uncertainty of whether they're just being "bi" to turn guys on, but not all lesbians hate all bi's :) xx

I don't but like you said most lesbians wouldn't date any. I would DATE but that's it there's no future with a bisexual woman. That's why most lesbians wouldn't want to date any. There'll always be something inside her you can't satisfy.

I'd imagine it is for the same reason that some straight people have negative attitude toward bisexual people. They can't imagine that there are individuals out there that are genuinely attracted to both sexes and feel as though one person liking both sexes is somehow cheating, or that the bisexual person is just in denial.

although i am straight through my childhood years i lived in a largely gay community and so have had some degree of experience with both gay men and women. i find gay men more approachable as lesbians can be very cliquey-if you are not part of their community then they usually have no time for you (this does not apply to all lesbians-but most are like this even if they don't realise it). for example there are lesbians i have known most of my life that when they found out i was straight refuse to speak to me. also if an individual decides that the lesbian way of life is not for them and tries to leave i have known lesbians show an extreme degree of violence to the unfortunate (i have witnessed this myself) whereas gay men will say "she'll be back" (referring to a male member of their number) and then generally leave it at that. so lesbians will usually tolerate other genders-but won't go out of their way to be freindly or even date people outside of their sexual orientation. in my time i have seen houses were you could not get in the front door unless you were of the lesbian faith (one memorable occurence during my teenage years involved some plumbing work to be done on a house-delayed because the council couldn't find a lesbian plumber). in most british lesbian circles the commune is headed by an elder person (often referred to as "mum") this person is usually a manhater and any fraternisation with the male sex can result in "punishments" ranging from ostracisation to outright assault.

Because a majority of people(regardless of orientation) stereotype bisexuals as cheaters and not loyal.

They probably want you all to themselves. As for why they may say that they would never date one, it would probably be as rough for them to lose you to a guy as it would be for a guy to lose you to a girl. The guy may feel that he turned you into a lesbian but the girl may feel that she turned you straight. It comes down to trust issues and a lack of understanding.
