Unfortunately living in Canada, Thursday & Friday are not holidays, so I will not be with my family until this weekend,
Just wondering if anyone else had a quiet night at home like me.....

You betcha. This was by choice, however. Family was going out of town and I wanted to stay to play at a local Thanksgiving Jam session. Cooked my own turkey, etc., but wound up staying home due to a frikkin' cold that decided to peak at about 8:00pm! Justice was not served, but many hot toddies were.

My sister tried to be alone, but I refused to let her. She divorced a few years ago and the kids can be weenies cuz they don't call her much or see her. She WANTED to be alone, but I made her go w/ me and hubby to the American Legion where our step-dad was cooking. We helped him cooked cuz he was running late. She had a fine time, I think, and broke the cycle of being alone on holidays.

no had with my family and talked that whole time im srry u had to spend it alone!
