it really pisses me off because my older brother just turned 25 and he think that i cant lift my own furniture............it always teases me and i am a perfessional trainer and i am much stronger then him and he stills thinks he is better then me...........i just get so pissed off................urgggggggggggghhh

Depends on how you measure it.
I've never lost a sprint to a woman (I'm pretty fast) but I've had women fly by me in marathons.
What I take away from this is that men are built for speed while women are built for endurance.
And I know, that is a HUGE generalization, but the point I'm getting at is that we are built for different things, and when we realize what they are, and develop those skills, we tend to compliment each other quite nicely thank you...

1. Biological measure
- Men "think(lol)" they're stronger than women because physically it's way more usual that men have more muscle and bigger body structure than vice versa. (Of course there can be exceptions to this average comparison)
2. Social norms
- Men are raised in an education at least in the United States, that is built upon the Patriarchal society which encourage men to be far more stronger than women both physically and mentally. They were taught as men are dominant and responsible to protect women (even if women don't agree)
3. Religion and Culture
- Some countries have higher degree of patriarchy (eg. some Asian countries and Latin American Countries)
- Moreover, some religion diffuse theories that emphasize the gender role are different, so men who've been taught in particular religious condition would be more probable to attempt to be dominative upon the women because they believe it is right attitude based on the religion.
Anyway it disgusts me too. But how could we prove that women are stronger than men?
1. build muscles
2. grow taller
3. be bigger
4. be brave.. etc
But I think the best way is to be aware of the law enforcement that can control threatens and abuse of physical power, and be as intelligent as possible to win and eventually it will be balanced.

Candy, you've got to let some men hold onto something. The biggest male is bigger and stronger than the biggest female.
After your brother picks up a chair, you pick up your brother.

I know, the problem is, many men don't have more power than women, but overall, men do.

ya. That is pretty much lame. Just think of it this way: guys get made fun of more for doing girl things than girls get made fun of for doing guy things.

Well, it could be that it's a biological fact that the average male IS stronger physically than the average female.
You can see that in most animal species, not just humans. It's not a universal fact for all animals, just for most, humans ncluded.

Name one Olympic event involving strength where the top woman outperformed the top man?
Name one woman in a professional men's sporting league?
It is a BIOLOGICAL fact that the top man will ALWAYS be stronger than the top woman.
Why can't you admit that?
I admit you are stronger than me. But you are not stronger than the top male. And no woman is. Why can't you admit that?

Let them 'think' it. They don't really. That's just macho hype. They know where their bread is buttered. The good ones anyway.
