I just saw the thing on ESPN News. I looked it up online.

Sad, isn't it?

I'ven ever heard of him, but whenever someone dies, especially so young, it's sad.

I hope it wasn't because of drugs or something.

It is very sad. I too hope it wasn't drug related. Even more than that though, I hope that he knew Jesus!!

I watched him pitch for thee A's the last few years. At times he was untouchable but seemed to always tire after the 6th inning. Two years ago he had some major arm problems and missed most of the year. They say his death may be because of a brain hemorrhage or a heart attack. When someone has arm surgery they have a chance to have a blood clot which could have caused the death. Its tragic for a 28 year old to pass away with family. All we can do is pray for the family.

That Kennedy name sure didn't help, did it? He was a very promising LH'er for Tampa Bay. He never found the success anticipated from him, but he was certainly a servicable ML pitcher.

Thoughts will be with the family.

He used to be on the Renegades(Single A new York Pen League). I remember when he pitched on them. I saw him pitch once or twice. I'm very surprised to hear this. RIP

Very sad. I work with Joe's uncle. Sounded like a good kid.

They said it was probably because of a brain aneurysm or a heart attack.

RIP Joe Kennedy

It is really sad. A lot of baseball players have died this year. It's kind of depressing.
