How many reasons for each thing for example -I'm thankful for my mom because she is very understanding- (mom- thing understanding-reason) do i need 2 reasons or just one for each thing?

When my teacher asks for a 5 paragraph essay she usually wants the first one to be an introduction, the next three to be reasons, and the last to be a conclusion. In the body paragraphs with your reasons, usually 2-3 bits of support is necessary to fully establish your position. For example, in the paragraph about your mom, write 2-3 reasons as to why you are thankful for your mom. Also remember to make your essay flow, so it sounds like one nice big piece! Good luck =]

don't you have notes from the class? I think a minumum of 2 reasons for each 'idea' is correct. Your last sentance in the paragraph should sum up (or conclude the idea talked about ).
You'll do alright,,,just be careful that your using proper grammar and correct punctuation.
Good luck , Ace!

Uh..

First paragraph- Intro.
Body paragraph(2,3,4)- Main facts/opinions and reasons.
Last paragraph- Conclusion.
