that post their pictures and ask you to tell them what you think.. or rate them... or ask if everyone thinks they are pretty or ugly or whatever...
I think just that people have to ask is kinda unattractive to me.

I think people who do this are insecure,and slightly narcissistic.
I would never ask someone to rate me on a scale from 1 to 10.
And yes,it's a big turn off.

I agree with you, that if you HAVE to ask, you already know the answer deep down inside of you..
HEY am I cute...and inside your just hoping someone says YES..but you look in the mirror and say to yourself, NO I AM NOT!.....
yes people like that are doing two things,
One, trying to draw attention to them.....
Two, trying to tell themselves they are not as ugly as they think they are...........

I say they are very insecure,but have you notice the ones who do it the most or in there early teens...like 13 to 17...
now you will stay in the 8 to 9 range...very good pics on myspace... :)

They are the very opposite of insecure!! They have enough confidence to ask and that takes much self-assurance. I could never do it!! BECAUSE I am insecure!!
