I doubt it. Plague and famine from over-population will probably wipe most of us out. Just remember that a weak and stupid person with a gun can kill the best warrior in the world. The type of mentality you suggest doesn't ensure the survival of the species anymore. It ensures the survival of the warlike, and they most endanger our species in the era of technology.

Well that would be a lot of killing as 1 in 4 have mental health suffering the physically weaker I assume are the older people - No I doubt it becaue we need a certain amount of people to make an economy and a society work.
Under your criteria we wouldn't have enough as there aren't that many strong people around.
It seems to me that we are more at risk of getting an epidemic that wipes us out first or glabal warming consequences.,
Don't worry. It wont have to happen

No we would never need to kill the weakest to survive as a species.
We have in the past needed to kill Nazis in the interest of survival, I hope we won't need to do it in the future.
I wouldn't rule out the possibility though.

I could argue that you fit in to the mentally weaker category - your spelling, punctuation and grammar leave a lot to be desired. Should I take it then that you will volunteer to be one of the first to be slayed in this mass cull?
Didn't you study history at school? You are talking like Hitler!
There is no need to take any lives. Over time our medicine and technology will continue to develop and hopefully we will gradually start taking better care of the earth. If it is absolutely necessary, there are much better ways to control the population - education being the first port of call.
I hope you don't have these thoughts often!

I seem to remember Adolf trying this one and Pol Pot and several others.
You are a misguided person and should spend some time with disabled and troubled people to learn that EVERYONE has weaknesses and so if you start the killing it can never stop.

Concidering that we are making medical advances, studying the human brain, understanding it better, and advancing in psycology...my answer would be No!!! Why would we resort to barbarack behavior and kill those who are weaker just for the heck of it. Lets see...now what separates us from the animals?

nature used to take care of this, but I doubt that even WE will succumb to it...mercy killing...ending the lives of terminally ill patients may finally take place ( I think it is a humane practice)
besides, theres so much money made in the medical fields.

No. Humans are gifted with compassion and understanding.
Animals are not. Occasionally you do get an animal, such as Hitler, Stalin, Sadam, etc.
