Serving in the military, though noble, does not make you smart nor tough. I'm 6'3" and in my prime and you old timers would not stand a chance. Just saying you're a vet does not make it so.

Seems a lot of these answerers have been hurt by the truth. Take a look at youselves and your party and change.

Yes, democrats are married to losing in Iraq and destruction of the US economy. Hence the renewed attempts to pull funding from our troops, condemning Turkey for the acts of the Ottoman Empire.

The fact that Democrat controlled congress has reduced their work week to four days a week and not passed one bill for FY 2008. They appear to want the US to fail.

No one is disappointed that there is no recession, yet, or that less troops are dying this month in Iraq. Liberals I know are thrilled when no one dies in Iraq. Too bad that far too many have already lost their lives for Bush's little war. While there is no recession, yet, the experts are starting to use the "R" word. If you would watch more than the right wing propaganda stations you would be aware of these things.

Since we are doing so well in Iraq we must ask when do we start to finally bring our people back home? Today? Tomorrow? (Will tomorrow ever come?)

A weakened dollar, a falling stock market, the highest decifit the world has ever seen, more troops dead in Iraq for 2007 than any other year since the occupation began, almost $100 for a barrel of gas over $3 for a gallon.
Those damn DEMS, they're never satisfied. How could we have any reason to complain when everything is going so great?

i think of the shortcoming of recession makes them sadder, on account that a recession could have a destructive result on greater human beings (maximum folk do no longer even understand all people in the armed forces, no longer to show being on the subject of somebody serving). i think of Liberals are happiest whilst the main all and sundry is suffering and a recession could hit plenty greater human beings than something that could desire to take place in Iraq.

We are more disappointed that unqualified President George W Bush caused both our economic and our foreign policy quagmires.

Seems like the "cons" are the disappointed group, because they lost the last election, and they, like you, are forever trying to start crap on these forums as a result.
Get over it friend, unless something drastic happens between now and the next election, because of George Bush, you're going to lose more seats in government.
Get yourself a big crying towel, a few bottles of prozak, and try to relax, you'll eventually get over it.

What do you hope to prove by acting like a child? Do you think embarrassing yourself in public, and acting like a 3rd graders will accomplish anything? Do you really hate yourself so much that you feel the need to try and denigrate others to feel important? I know of NO Americans, not even 1, who are disappointed that less troops are dying. And as a veteran, had you asked a question like this with me in the room, you would be in the hospital for a year. How about getting off your treasonus butt and enlisting?

why would we be disappointed? isn't that all the more reason to bring the troops home?

I find stupidity rather disappointing,in a time of mass media and unlimited press,to be so mis-informed is senseless...
(As a vet,I,commend ED J, and this twirp wouldn't want me in the room, either ) Oh! By the way,a twirp is a pimply faced boy that goes around sniffing little girls bicycle seats, for those of you who don't know(it's all about staying informed, you see )

From the mind of the liberals:

"What are you talking about? We're in a recession and thousands of Americans die in Iraq every day!"

Their so deluded with their own ideas that they don't even know the truth, in some cases.

The leaders aren't upset, their too busy scrambling to find a way to trick people into not seeing what's plain before their faces, so that they can be elected.
