Is it selfish to want others to make me happy?

Its not selfish. Happiness comes from within.

I don't think it's selfish to want to be happy but it's unrealistic to depend on others to do it.

No, not as long as you're trying to make yourself happy. We all want to be happy.

If you fully intend to make others happy, then no.

But if you don't care much if you make them happy, then yes.
