Well, don't be one of the mass... set your self apart from all the girls that fan all over him, stand out.
Try talking to him outside of school, maybe even just on myspace, or some other type of messaging or e-mail program...
And don't worry about all the other girls anyway, sure they could be competition, but a lot of the time the guys don't even like those girls...
And whatever you do, don't rush things! It can only lead to things being ackward, and ... terrible..

You might talk to him when other girls are not crowding. You might also stop being "Scared" - why should you be scared and of what. Just go over and talk to him. If the usual school room rumors are correct, things will go well, crowding or not.
Until you make yourself available, nothing is going to happen. You actions are telling him you have no interest. His actions are saying the same thing. Did he come to talk to you???
Actions speak louder than words.......

I know exactly how you feel lol!!!!!!!! Act like your not interested in him for a week then start waving at him in the halls, and saying hi, then after that push threw the croud of girls and have small conversations with him. Then, when your feeling confident hang out with him all day, go to class together and eat together, Soon enough either you or him will ask eachother out! Oh and most importantly, BE YOURSELF! Good luck, it worked for me!

If he likes you he will come over to you, he can't be shy if other girls are around him - you just be patient and be different from the other girls who crowd round him, - but make sure you smile or acknowledge him in some way to give him a bit of encouragement.

I say, go up to him, maybe when he's alone or whateva, but show him you like him and that you're not like the other girls that are crowdin him. Sometimes girls can make the fisrt move, but keep it simple and smooth. Be a little flirty with him, but not all ova him u-know. Hope it works out!!

Well don't be so scared. If you have any lessons with him, then get to know him and maybe ask to meet up. Also...
...If his friends have been talking to you, then ask them to ask him out for you or get one of your own friends to ask him out for you. I know people say to cut out the middle man, but sometimes you just need one.
Pass notes, text and email are all ways to talk to someone yourself, so if you are too shy or whatever then just write a note or text him instead.
Hope it all works out.

Just go over and talk to him about something you have in common. Start with something you both know about and can discuss. How can he think he likes you if he doesn't talk to you?

His friends could be just kidding and if he really likes you it's because your the only the girl who's not crouding around him. So just keep up what your doing and he will aproach you.

Talk to him if his friends thinks he likes you, you should definitely find out for yourself. Its also a way to get to know him, and if he does like you it gives him more of a chance to ask you out if your talking like friends. Its less occurred for him this way.

if he likes you, then you dont need to impress him. he will find a time to talk to you without other girls following him around. maybe he will even ask you out so that you both will have a private conversation.=)
