I appealed as soon as I got the violation notice, chased them up when I got no reply, and they replied saying that the appeal was too late and it had already been deleted.

The removal of a question or answer is automatic, all it takes is one or more reliable reporter, and it is gone. Appeals are done by an actual person. Because of the high amount of traffic, and because Yahoo is a free site, they probably don't allocate a lot of resources to appeals.

Once and got no answer whatsoever from Yahoo on the appeal. They prolly realized they were being moronic about it and didnt want to admit it.

i've had my q/a reinstated maybe 2 or 3 times, but everytime i appeal, i end up suspended a few days later, so i gave up
