I don't ask for crap, and that's what I get, a big nothing, then I have resentments....so, I get resentments for Christmas. Thanks for asking.

No, I've never liked it much when someone does that. There is no one in my family who has any money to give us anyway. We usually exchange "small" gifts because we are adults with no children to buy for, so we just keep things on a small scale.

I don't ask for anything particular...seems rude unless that person asks what you need or want, then I guess you could say I could use the money and buy whatever I need or want for myself...I think it's ok in that situation.

I don't think I ever ask for money....but I always hope for it....and I usually get a little from my parents. I know it is probably no good asking *you* for money, though....you just want to knit me a sweater...right?

No, but i figured out with my parents that if i don't ask them for anything specific, they'll get me a whole lot more even money, than if i ask for something.

I don't ask for anything anymore...I actually hope nobody buys me anything because I don't have the money to get them anything.
