Well, according the the 360 Blog, they will be transitioning 360 in early 2008. They will have transitioning "tools" and the ability to make backup copies. There is a rumor that Yahoo!Mash might not be the replacement product, but rather the new "Universal Profile System" they are working on.

It is, since they're switching it for some other socializing site that they made. But they promised a way for you to move over your friends and your blog content to their new site. I don't know exactly what will happen. We just have to wait and see.

With the age of myspace, facebook and the likes a yahoo 360 I"m sad to say just isn't up to par with the rest of the new programs. Are they shutting it down? I don't know but you could contact yahoo and ask them.
