as long as you have the bill of sale for said boat and trailer no big deal. will have to show ti to the police officer that does the traffic stop to check it. But it would probably be alot easier to go ahead and register the boat trailerin Florida and transfer it in WA. As for te boat itself as long as you have the origional tittle paper from previous owner it's simply just to bring the boat with you to the wildlife and fisheries office ( in case they need to inspect it) to trasfer it inot your name as well as you need to make sure the boat regisrarion is current to the year so you won't have to go back to Fla and fight to update that registration on the boat. over all make sure you have the bill of sale and or the titles and have it all notorized. This keeps said items from eing claimed as stolen

Call the DMV as you don't want to be stop at every turn and show your title Bill of sale> Might be cheaper to reg it in fl for 1 yr for $20 than all the trouble and easer to reg if it's in your name the not when you get there>>

if it is a new purchase go back to the dealer otherwise you have at least a fifteen day window from purchase in which to transport an un registered boat as long as you have the bill of sale.

as long as you have a valid Florida tag on your trailer you will be fine. if you are moving to WA permanently you will need to transfer your tag and re register your boat in the new state
