Well, you might want to disqualify my "HONEST" answer because I have already made the commitment to support RON PAUL.

But I looked up Mr. Obama here, in case he is elected, just to read about him:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama

Like everybody else he has good points & not so good points.

Good points:
An excellent speech giver.
An excellent mind.
He may be a great president in the long term future.

Bad points:
1. Inexperience in federal matters.
2. Possible ties to a Mr. Tony Rezko, who is under a federal investigation.
3. 71% of his contributions came from large corporate donors, which imo, is a RED flag, corporate donors donate for futiure favors.
4. Where did the money come from to get his excellent education?
5. Unfortunately, he comes from a broken family, which may have left internal mental scars. {my opinion only}
6. Again unfortunately, there is still bigotry in the USA! Does anyone think the U.S. Congress,{435 mostly old white guys} Senate, {100 mostly old white guys} Armed Forces, {leaders are mostly older white guys} and the other power brokers in the USA {Again mostly old white guys}......Are Going To Take Marching Orders From An African American?????

I would, but I'm considered a radicle Ron Paul groupie, outside of mainstream America.
Thanks for the question.

I could never vote for Senator Obama, much of what he advocates conflicts with his voting record.. He voted in favor of reauthorizing the Patriot Act, he cannot commit to withdrawing the troops out of Iraq by 2013, possibly later.. He hasn't ruled out using strikes against Iran, not to mention the same vote he criticizes Hillary for, he missed himself and sponsored the exact same legislation designating the IRG a terrorist organization in back in April.. He implied that he would invade Pakistan, without the consent of their government.. He made votes making it more difficult for average citizens to sue big corporations.. He has no consistency on the issues of social security and taxes, in the very beginning he was for raising the cap, then having all options on the table, then appointing a bipartisan commission, now he's back to raising the cap.. He receives contributions from lobbyists, corporations and interest groups, despite his denials.. He promises "change" but he has neither the substance, the experience, nor desire to deliver this change..

I will vote for OBAMA, because I would like to see some changes here in the US.

1) OBAMA knows how important it is for the US to have better relations the the INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITTY.
(unlike Hillary, he does not see SOME other countries like they are the enemy..BUSH's policies have made the rest of the world HATE AMERICA...because America appears now like an ARROGANT government that wants to interfere, change and control other countries.)
2) I believe OBAMA knows how important healthcare is, and its not working as it is.
3) He will listen.. regarding the war.

Those are some...WE NEED NEW, YOUNG IDEAS.
JFK did not have much experience BUT he did alot for the country, he was a GREAT president.
Hillary will do well if she has alot of conversations with her husband (LOL), together they may do okay
LET FACE IT, the next president is getting the country in a MESS, and it will take DRASTIC measures to change things...
OBAMA and the new government can make the changes..I like JOHN EDWARDS AS VICE...!!!

I will vote for Obama because;

1. He is the most honest candidate running. I'm sick of lying, two faced politicians.
2. I support the vast majority of his proposed policies
3. I feel he has the best chance at winning the White House. I'm tired of this country being run by right wing, religious nut jobs.

Because he hangs out with religious bigots, and he bought into Novaks bs about the Clinton camp holding back a Obama scandal.

If the democrats want a republican in office in 2008, then they'll nominate Obama.

HE recently id not vote on that Iran as a terrorist group Vote.
But came out like a madman criticizing Clinton for her Vote.

He said it was because his presidentail candidacy repsonsibilities prevented him from doing so.

But thats exactly the type of excuses america doesnt need AGAIN.
he was too busy running for president, but as a senator failed to vote?

Thats just contemptable, and neglegent on his part.

Plus when you look at his overall track record,...he really hasnt stood for anything accept words
He hasnt done anythign tangible...worthy of a presidential consideration.

Hes onlyrunning on the fact that he feels people want a democrat and wont elect clinton.
It would be a sham electing either clinton or obama.

Obamas not even Black...hes muslim descent.
So he cant garnish the black vote as much as he thinks.

Obamas just another opportunist who needs to prove himself..
because up until now, hes all talk talk talk.

I would hesitate because he is the candidate with the least amount of experience, and there will always be people who say he is just the "token black president".

I would vote for him if he's nominated because he is honest, a strong leader, and one of the few candidates who will really shake-up Washington.

For some older people his youth intelligence and straightforwardness kindle memories of man shot 44 years ago. On issues many of his plans are better than other candidates such as Iraq, health care and education.
Voting for him is a vote for change instead of four more years on GWB in a dress pants suit or an ambulance chaser or politics as usually.

He does not get my vote. He says he is for helping middle and low income Americans. But he is pro-illegal. He voted for the Amnesty bill and the Dream Act. How is giving illegals a free pass going to help middle America. It would just put more people in that level? The Dream Act would have benefitted the children of illegals by allowing them to go to college and for less than a citizens child would have to pay. Again how does that help middle America. Just one reason he wont get my support.

He's woefully inexperienced, super confused, and his stance on the 2nd amendment drives me to furious anger. Don't mess with the constitution and expect my vote.
