okay, i have a betta in a 2.5 gal tank, with light, a heater, two plants, a shell, and a little clay goldfish. my fish is happy, but it dosen't eat anything, i tried blood worms, betta flakes, and betta pellets it won't eat anythin.

my betta is from petland discounts, i had it for a week and a few days it never ate, and it is probably a year old

All the male bettas are about 9 months old at the pet stores
Just keep trying on feeding him, he will be just fine
And they can live up to 7 years with proper maintanance

The problem is you havent told us:
1. where your betta came from
2. How old it is
3. How long you have had it
Live food is best for them but always give them a varied diet. It will be eating even if you dont notice it. They are very fussy fish
