I dislike the Yankees the most. Their is a certain air of arrogance among the players as though it is their right to go to the world series. And Yankee fans (and it is their right to believe so) think that the Yankees are the best team in baseball. But best teams change from year to year. This year the Red Sox won the world series, so until the play off of next year they will remain the best. In the event they lose or don't make the play off then its open to whom ever makes it to the world series. Also, the Yankees live in the past, when they were a dynasty, not any more.

Honestly, as a Yankees fan I'm supposed to hate the Red Sox...I mean some teams are rivals and that's just the way that it is. But personally I don't hate any team, I can't really explain it, but I don't believe in hating another baseball team just because I'm supposed to. All the teams in the MLB have good players, some teams are better than others, but I can't hate any of them.

The White Sox. Their fans are annoying and they care more about the Cubs losing than their own team winning. They claim to be better fans than Cubs fans, yet they only show up to their games when their team is winning. They bash Wrigley Field constantly, yet they play in one of the crappiest stadiums in baseball, a stadium that has had to remove thousands of seats from the upper deck to make it less steep. Winning the 2005 World Series has gone straight to their heads. They were convinced they would win in 2006 and 2007. They were also convinced they would get Torri Hunter because who wouldn't want to play for the White Sox? Their television announcers have to be the worst announcers in baseball. Ken "Hawk" Harrelson is the most annoying and the most bias, announcer I have ever heard. He calls the White Sox "the good guys" and their opponents "the bad guys". He cries and complains about calls that go against the Sox even if the replay shows the umps got it right and forgets that the Sox were on the positive side of one of the most controversial calls in baseball history. He uses stupid catch phrases like "you can put it on the board, yes!" for a home run, "he gone" for a strike out, "Stretch!" for a deep fly ball that might be a home run, and worst of all when the White Sox are getting pounded he will not say anything at all either making his idiot partner Darrin "D.J." Jackson call the game or leaving dead air for minutes at a time! And if you ever go to a Sox game, you'll find the fans have adopted his catch phrases and will yell "He gone" when the opponent strikes out and "stretch" when someone hits a deep fly ball. Oh, and Ozzie Guillen is a racist homophopic moron and the most overrated manager in baseball, and Kenny Williams could be the worst GM in baseball, especially after giving a middle reliever 19 million dollars!

i've always hated the yankees for obvious reasons. but a new hatred of mine is the boston red sox. sure i rooted for them in 2004 cause it was such a good story but now that they have won two championships, there is little difference between them and the yankees. they spend tons of money (though admittedly, they spend it much more smartly). the thing that gets me though is their fans. i'm not talking about the die hards that rooted for them before '04, i'm talking about the casual fan that has decided to embrace them because they are now good. they are now the most bandwagon team in baseball. think about how many random red sox fans seem to be just coming out of the woodwork. at my school, after they won, it seemed like everyone suddenly had a connection to boston (my great grandfather lived there, i played on the boston red sox in little league, if you change 6 letters in my name it spells boston, my family was on the mayflower). i am a hardcore baseball fan and i hate to see people latch on to a team just because theyre good, whatever happened to loyalty and being a die hard fan of one team?
