Why are you peoples are so delusional? I said they look like a #1 team, not the #1 team. They just looked good beating the ASU Sundevils, they looked dominant.

Jetsover you make sense on your common, I'll take USC right now over any other team right now, right now, i said, not awhile ago and the Vegas lines would agree. Guffeeta how can you said your not convince that J Booty cannot win a BIG GAME, didn't he win the Rose Bowl for USC by throwing for almost 400 yards and like 100 TD's. I don't know how big the game can it be, if the ROSE BOWL is not a big game. Please get your head straighten up. I guess at USC, it's the BCS title or bust right, is that what you mean?

USC looked extremely good yesterday. No way of knowing if they are the best though.
No way we will ever know until we have a playoff. Like every other level/division of football played.
Or any other sport for that matter.

Well, I guess the question you have to ask yourself is "Who is the next number 1 team?" It's probably going to be either Oklahoma, Georgia, or Florida, depending on what happens this weekend. OU plays a spunky TCU team; Georgia will have their hands full with Alabama; and Florida should probably have a fairly easy game against Ole Miss. I think this year will turn out similarly to last year, where everybody from a major conference has at least one loss, and most teams have at least two. I believe teams from tougher conferences like the SEC and Big 12 should be rewarded for fighting through a meat grinder all year. Who cares if you end up with two losses if you can win one of those conferences? The PAC10 is clearly down this year. It'd be disappointing to see USC surf into the championship with one loss. I'll go with Oklahoma ending up #1, and Florida at #2 for your BCS NC game.

I read these answers and it reminded me of what I read about right before S.C.handed another overrated team, Oklahoma a good ole fashioned knotted plow line behind the woodshed whoooopin! a few years ago. All the PAC-10 haters are back. They forget that S.C. has been by far the most dominant team in the most underrated conference of the 21st century!! Absolutely S.C. is the best team in the conference, and even with the loss to Stanford should finish the year 3rd at worst. It's hard to take O.S.U. out of the title game. The S.E.C & the Big 12 are so far overrated it's ridiculous, and are being held aloft by a very unethical B.C.S. system and it's east coast cronies including the media(E.S.P.N.) Nobody wants to play S.C. right now!

It really doesn't matter what they look like now, with 2 losses the most they can hope for is to meet Ohio State in the Rose Bowl and kick their Big 10 butts. I am not convinced that Booty can win a big game, he looked good yesterday but has generally been a bust. I can't remember a USC team in the last 6 years with 2 regular season losses.

USC looked good last night. But we don't have the look of a number one team. Booty is not a good QB, we still make too many penalties, and we need a new special teams coach.

John David Booty looked awesome. I would take this USC team over any other college football team right now.

LOL, USC is not a #1 team, Stanford proved it. Anyone can have a decent game against a top 10 team, it has happened all year.

USC may as well be Little Texas Music Fans,,, now we get to hear them all singing the song "What might have been".
If you cant run with the big dogs, you better stay on your Pac 10 porch.

This is why we need a playoff. We would kill Oregon right now, but they are ranked ahead of us! I'm watching LSU right now, and if we played like we did last night, I think we'd kick their butts!
Fight On!

No, they have 2 big losses. But, definitely top 10. They needed to beat Stanford to even consider number 1.
