Stuffing envelopes is usually a scam.

Try the crafts. I make cat toys (harvest my own catnip) and they sell pretty well. You can look at doing items for pet owners, dogs, etc. The local pet stores (not the big chains, look for the small independants) often buy from local artists. With the internet you can also contact dog boutiques and specialty stores about what you make.

Please be careful with these types of 'businesses'.

My personal experience has been this:

1. Stuffing envelopes--you are told you will get X amount of dollars for stuffing X amount of envelopes, but what they don't tell you, is that the info that you are stuffing in the envelopes, is info that you had to sell to someone. So if you don't sell anything, you have no envelopes to stuff.

2. Assembling crafts and other products--many times the companies simply make money selling you the kit to make the crafts.

Do your homework, use the better business bureau website, and simply Google any company you are considering to see if anyone has been scammed.

If you would like to make extra money without stuffing envelopes, or having to buy anything, feel free to email me at gfromansone16@yahoo.com.

I can't say that htere are no legit stuffing envelope gigs but I did want to tell you that I applied for 2 of those and they sent me a flyer to post with the same ad I replied to. Also the crafts from home there are alot of legit ones very reputable but hwat they don't tell you is the work you do is not worth the little money you recieve. It is very tedious. Make sure you do your research on any company. I do work from home with a great company and the work you do is well worth the pay you recieve. It is not envelope stuffing or crafts but it's great work and great pay.If you would like some more info you can email me. Good luck either way!
