my daughter is 12 and she wants to become a marine biologist. she is also obbsessed with shoes and fasion. she has no idea what she wants for christmas and i dont really know what to get her, any ideas?

If she likes marine bio. how about a membership to an aquarium/museum, if you live in a large enough city....or some books on sea life that have colorful pictures.
My favorite gift at that age was an aquarium. It was small (10 gallons) had a light, filter and heater. I also got a gift certificate for fish at a local pet store. I loved my fish, and continued to drag that same tank around everywhere I went for years. They have much nicer set-ups today. You have to be willing to care for the fish, but if she doesn't have one and is into that it may spur her toward a career. It did me!

wel i dno where uz live r if ther would be newhere near u but a trip to a marine park,maybe ask if she could help feed the animals etc, or scuba diving lessons to that she can go under the ocean, and would be great time spent with her 2..

hmm.. i am 15 .. and when i was twelve .. i always wanted more clothes .. but dont buy it for her.. my mom always did.. and she didnt get the right things .. i know its the thought that counts.. but really it dosent to a twelve year old..
so find out her favorite store.. or a store that would impress her friends and get her some clothes from there plus a gift card so she can pick somethings out she likes :)

gift cards, when unsure let her pick her own gifts... you can take her for mother daughter bonding... it works, thats how my mom did it it was quite the hit!
