I want to do a music project with Vivaldi as my subject. I have heard some of his pieces and enjoyed them a lot.
After a bit of research, I noticed something that challenges me.

There seems to be a lot of focus on the scandals in his life, such as his relationship with Anna Giraud.

As many of you know, there isn't A LOT of information about Vivaldi, the few facts are openly available on the web, but these scandals seem to overpower his professonal career.

Can anyone offer any advice? Is Vivaldi's professional life a focal point of the person or is he more famous for his scandals today.

Your music project should focus on Vivaldi the composer and his music ONLY!!! There's TONS of information regarding the man and his music---remember, Vivaldi was nicknamed "The Red Priest" because of his red hair!!! Concentrate on the man and his music and you'll make a fine project!!! [Nobody cares about his scandals anyway!!!] Good luck!!! - El Chupacabra -

He is remembered for and famous for his music and not his private life.
