I am speaking as a non-supporter for Englang, in other words I don't support them, and this is totally objective. Nay, Capello has done a great deal as Real Madrid coach. Redknapp might have led Tottenham to the CL 4th spot but Capello knows his 23-man squad well and Redknapp will not be familiar with the squad. Okay, here's the deal: If Capello manages to reach the semi-finals in the World Cup, we keep him. If he doesn't, then we fire him. Harry Redknapp or Roy Hodgson to overtake.

That depends on if you are strong enough. Italian managers have to deal with lots of press scrutiny and intrusion. I think that it would take a strong personality. It is a big challenge but proved too much for someone like say, Scolari. Lippi, Capello or Mourinho could handle it. They also have the tactical expertise the mclaren didn't have.

both really. being england manager is seen by many as the most important job in world football. the english media is very intrusive. that adds up to a helluva lot of pressure. if you can handle that pressure, and are good enough, then it's an opportunity of a lifetime.

I think the FA should forget about all the famous names that we know of and advertise the job to the Public. Equal Opportunities and all that...
Half the sunday league managers I know could do a better job than any of these over paid prima donna planks.
Fisher Athletic's manager would be my choice.

Bit of both - mind you I'd take it - get the job - ruin the nations football integrity - get fired and still walk away with 2.5million - yep, that'll do nicely
