Why would england celebrate the day native Americans sorted your crowd out before you stabbed them in the back and stole their land. happy thanksgiving

I don't think so, thanksgiving is celebrating the pilgrims finally settling in America, England has nothing to celebrate as far as I know.

No, Thanksgiving is an American holiday. Canada, however, does have its own Thanksgiving, but it is on the second Monday of October.

They had a November 22nd, of course, but they don't celebrate Thanksgiving like the US & Canada.

No, we didn't slaughter a whole bunch of Indians, so have nothing to be thankful for.

However, we did burn a load of Catholics, so we celebrate Guy Fawkes night on 5 November instead.
