Not the U.S. Not even the British. It was the Ottoman Empire, then Turkey until after World War I. Then it was a combination of the European powers until after World War II. I'll stop here...

Israel is STILL there! Considering everything the World has put them through - they beat a homeland out of nothing and are still there.
I don't agree with everything they do, and further believe that the Palestinians who were displaced deserve a dedicated homeland - but they sure won't get that as long as they keep murdering civilians.
It's the bloody English who REALLY could have avoided all the recent and present strife had they put some THOUGHT behind some ridiculously rotten decisions before and after the War.

Isreal, obviously, they have nuclear capability and unlimited military & financial support from the US. In their
arrogance & belligerence, they assume that world opinion & UN mandates are of little consequence . What is wrong with these jews? After thousands of years of persecution they still havn't sussed that what goes around comes around. Israel I would have to say 1. they have nucular wepons 2. they have one of the most advanced tanks in the world other than the US and the British. 3. they have been actually fighting there neighbors for years and nothing counts like practice hasn't your momma told you that!

Israel! The USA literally gives them all the weapons they want! The USA calls this 'aid'. USA gives them 'aid' and Israel MUST use this 'aid' to buy USA arms, so USA are literally funding their arms industry. Without Government subsidies, the USA arms industry would collapse!
