...that they have nothing better to do than hang around the LGBT section of "answers" and insult people? Just wondering.

Paulo: Totally right - they should do something about names like that. REPORT the bashers.. it's all we can do

I wish I knew! I know that it's frustrating when trolls come on here and block you from things, report you, ask pointless questions and try to get a reaction. Sadly, they do. It's been said so many times before that we should ignore them, but we can't, we reply, we respond, we give in. What else can we do? I'm not saying I approve or want it, of course not! I'm just saying it's really disheartening to think there are people in the world who find that being homophobes in real life isn't enough, they have to come online and do the same.

I agree completely, some of the homophobic postings in the LGBT section are tant amount to incitement of hatred and violence!

Sadly, all we can do is report their sorry asses and maybe that's exactly what we, as a community should be doing.

We should police our 'answers' section and if there is even a sniff of a homophobic remark, we should immediately report it and maybe then, the brainless morons with their sick attitudes will eventually get the message and return to the gutter that they crawled from, because they sure arn't welcome here!

you know when folk come on this website, they dont know who each of us are, or their age group, some really do ask questions that hit raw nerves, some are totally silly, some are rude, some sexually explicit, and some simply take it to their heart so much, they answer back, cursingly, rudely, or not tactfully, report them you must, but only if you see harm in the question, how do you know if its not a phaedophile asking, you dont, but you never know,
questions shouls light, funny knowledgable,
answers should be wise, without insulting or upsetting but in some cases, you have to say the truth, yes it hurts, but thats life, its how we make it, good/bad, positive/negative, black/white but giving that poor person some hope allow them a shade of grey, choices whether to read advise given or ignore so phobes they may be, they have problems, allow them on, haters too, we can all read and we have choices whether to reply, besides yahoo will step in if its violating to the core or not, its there website, we have the privilige to use.

I really dislike this also but look at it this way..those haters are hypocrites. They say they hate a certain subject but they seemed to be completely enthralled with it at the same time. They love to hate whatever that is and that's what keeps them coming back. If you didn't have those haters, then you wouldn't have so many hits or such with whatever you're trying to prove. In this day and age, controversy is the best type of candy.

Cuz most of them are losers who have no life so they try to make themself feel better by insulting other people. What a sad bunch of people they are.

Sad little people with sad little lives and sad little minds.
Altogether sad...... they only know about hatred and have no understanding of people and their way of lives. They have no respect for others, and we in turn have no respect for them.
They have so much time on their hands because they are ugly people on the inside and nobody bothers with them....sad.

Good question. I just wonder what they might be able to achieve if they took all that energy and passion and focussed it on something positive. Wonder too, why Yahoo answers doesn't ban homophobic names like Gayhater and Gaykilla. Don't forget to report these guys, they're violating the community guidelines!

I think their scared, they hang around on here and see questions and feelings being expressed that they feel themselves and instead of typing down "look i feel this way...help am i gay??" they spread hate, because the easiest thing to do when ur embarressed or scared is to spread hate, they slam the bible in our faces, but i slam it back with the same verse "jesus said love thy neighbour as you would love yourself"

Good question...I was wondering the samething myself..

If I had that kind of time I would like to think I could find something much more constructive to do with my time.

The "haters" as you put it also hate other things.....like going to work.
They get their education from watching the Oprah and real life type shows and try to spread their new found knowledge in places such as this.
Pay them no mind and hopefully they will get bored and go away.
