Please spend approximately 10 minutes watching the following video. There are a lot of issues involved with the video; HOWEVER, I am only looking for two things:

Please rate the sincerity of the driver on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest.

Please rate the sincerity of the law enforcement officer on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the the highest.

OK.

The driver was an idiot to confront the officer. Even if he didn't stay in his car. That's how troopers get shot or attacked. He was upset because he WAS getting a ticket. Driver - 2.

Policeman- He did NOT inform the driver that by signing the ticket it was an admission of guilt. Policeman-8.

I sympathize with the driver, cannot blame the cop for being overly careful pulling someone over in the desert.

The Man would be a 10.
The cop would be a 5

The cops a bit difficult because the officer didn't tell or apparantly write down the speed he was driving. And the man said he wanted the speed. It sounded reasonable, and it showed a lack of sincerity. The officer didn't seem sincere in his efforts to make an appropriate arrest.

I saw a few mistakes.
1. The officer, if he is by the book, should be sincrere about making a proper arrest
---a. miranda rights must be read after handcuffing before arguing with a person.
---b. the victim or guy was left over the white line for about a min too long and this was dangerous.

The man kept his intention of asking the same questions, without an answer, before, during and after arrest so I gave him a 10.

The cop's sincerity was based on issuing a ticket, and in his case was to follow the book. The cop had many options and ways he could have diffused the situation but chose to be "bookish" and go for an arrest. But if you're going to do this you have to follow through "bookishly". The cop got 5 and not a lower number because he followed through and searched the vehicle. The cop also didn't get a lower number because he maintained the same statements, "sign" regardless of what was happening.

Hands on the dash.

Remember Rodney?

Or, if you don't want to get shot, or f*ed up,
don't mess with the cop. Take a deep breath, and remember the value of your life, cause they will not. They are thinking of the value of their's.
