Hi, I'm waiting on a interview call for a job. Once I start working, I want to buy a Christmas tree and decorations for the house. Will I have enough money by then and time to but the stuff? My interview is Nov 26th Monday. Be honest! Thanks

YES!

or at least I hope so, I recently moved to a new area and have been looking for work the last few weeks... I interview on Monday thee 26th. I believe that as long as we *start* work by the end of the month we might even be able to buy our families presents (my 1 y/o and 3y/o old sons are getting a dollar store Christmas) If you are truly worried I would recommend to contact a local church if you do not have one (we were able to receive some food as well) or a garage sale for inexpensive decorations (3 days ago there was 4 boxes labelled "free Christmas stuff" and i took one box and found several strings of lights *working* a few ornaments and a stained glass serenity prayer.

keep your head up I know we can do it.

If you get the job (and it's an hourly job), you will probably get paid in about 2 weeks. Remember, taxes will be deducted as well.

You will probably get your first pay sometime in mid-December. This all depends on when the pay period ends and pay day comes.

You should be able to buy a tree and decorations, but not until later in December. Those items may be on sale by then- more discounts to get the merchandise moving.
