Talk about ambiguous.
From here - because they get reported, and not necessarily correctly reported as many don't break any rules at all .... The last one I had was a question asking what the best book people had recently read was ... And they refused my appeal saying they didn't get it in time ... Strange that, I sent it as soon as I got the violation notice
From other places - because they are obsolete or wrong

I think things get deleted because they violate the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

Soe get deleted for being profane or offensive, other things because some people have haters that like to report everything they do, whether or not it was an actual violation. THAT is most retarded.

There are certain guidelines and some people violated the guidelines. But sometimes - for no apparent reason, totally innocent questions or answers get deleted.

Hello, Lazy or uneducated brain never heard the old saying "sticks and stones break my bones but names will never hurt me"so they go about deleting find it easier than debating their case.

i got deleted yesterday for wishing my American friends happy thanksgiving. i put it question form, so i thought it was okay. i wish they'd at least give a reason for deleting things.
