The human mind is about the only thing which differentiates man from animal. It is by education, the ability to reason, that the race has survived. Many animals are stronger than man, faster than man, more stealthy than man. None have the reasoning power of man.Education, formal or street smarts, have elevated man to rule the other species. In some instances, it was responsible for chaos.Ordinarily it benefits man through research, teachings, and morality.
