If someone scold you among others, what to do. angry and make defence at once? Or hiding up, get the things grow dark.

If she is telling you gossip then you will have to leave the room. If that is not possible then you will have to interrupt her and let her know you'd rather not hear the gossip. Some people think gossip is entertaining. She may not know you are offended unless you speak up.

Well, that is probably her nature, so unless she really wants to change, she will not.
This is what I'd do:
1. I'd leave her alone the moment she starts with her crazy gossiping.
If that is not enough, then it's time for step 2! LOL
2. Julio's idea (above): You can record her, and play it back so she can listen to her own boring nonsense.
Not enough?
3. I'd tell her: 'See this recording? I can play it to (everyone she would not want hearing it). So unless you keep your big mouth shut, that's exactly what I'll do.'
I think that should be enough. LOL
However, I think the wisest thing would be to leave her alone the moment she starts talking about things she should be. That's what I do. :) If not, she'll probably be telling others that you were the one saying and/or thinking what she said herself.

Better idea than the first poster -- record her gossiping and then play it back to the people she's gossiping about. Do that for a week or two and I guarantee you the gossip will either get the message or will lose all her friends (or both).

women gossip.... there is no stopping it, you can point it out to her as the above stated but you are only deterring the problem temporarily... a fact in life is that women gossip. you could point out that you dont care to hear about it....
