I was hoping someone could help me out, I need a desktop a good one, fast, and good looking lol ya.. this is what i want from specs
1) 2gb or more ram ( expandable to 8gb but can be less)
2) 160gb or more hard-drive, the more the better obviously as long as its under a $1000
3) Intel core 2 duo with a clock speed of preferably 2ghz or higher, (i believe intel core 2 duo is the best processor right now not sure though if there is better please let me know)
4) Good graphic card that supports games like, counter strike, gunz, call of duty, strategy games, mmorpgs like maplestory, runescape, and all those, and can keep up with new games coming out for computer.
5) Thats about it, and if it comes with a monitor and all thats even better, monitor size would be 17" or higher, 17" is enough for me though not to crazy about that, but 19" would be perfect.

P.S: Yes my demands are kinda high, but id appreciate it if you know a computer that has these specs and you tell me. Thanks

I just give links for reference, Not try to say this the best. Just show you to learn.
This is Newegg and the first link is Gaming Computers. The second is one I just pick because it have better/more reviews.

$800 with an AMD Dual Core (AMD seems OK, they may run a little hotter than an Intel).

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+(2.8GHz)
1GB DDR2 will hold 8 GB with 4 slots.
250 GB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT 256MB (512 MB may be better, but, then the price go up).

Now, about Hard Drives. For myself (MY way of wanting to do this), IF, I were gaming the 250 GB may be good. I would rather have 2 x 160 GB and run a RAID setup where I gain more performance (RAID Level 0 for example if this all I could have) "and" Redundancy if possible.

Yep, it's quite possible. Go for the Q6600, which at $200 is good for some time. Hard drives are all about the same, except space difference. 8800GT will last you awhile if you like games, otherwise a 8xxx series for $100ish should be ok. 17" monitors aren't expensive, but I suggest a bigger size. DDR-2 ram is cheap as heck by the GB now.

These specs are custom built, price is almost or less $1000. I suggest Newegg, due to the reviews and variety.

Pretty much buy anything you want, you can get a really good desktop for under 1k. I'd personally go with a custom computer. Go out and buy the parts that suit you.

try one of these

you can customize all of them so that you can sacrifice some parts and get others and yet stay under $1000
